The Right Treatment For Auto Injury: Whiplash

Auto accidents are a common hazard of living in a metro area. These collisions can cause injuries to the spine that can result in long-term pain. One study reported that 30% of individuals injured in rear-end impacts suffered from pain TWO YEARS after the crash! Another study at Bristol University, UK revealed, “43% of patients will suffer long-term symptoms following ‘whiplash’ injury, for which no conventional medical treatment has proven to be effective.” Conventional medical treatment here means physical therapy, drugs or surgery.

The challenge to dealing with injuries from auto accidents is that most of the damage is to the ligaments and joints of the neck. These types of injuries can result in joint instability or scar tissue type adhesion’s affecting the normal alignment or mobility of the affected spinal area. These can be difficult to diagnose and treat with conventional medical care such as medication. Lack of treatment or improper treatment can result in an increased risk of joint degeneration and chronic pain!

There is GOOD NEWS however; studies have shown the EFFECTIVENESS OF CHIROPRACTIC care for whiplash injury from auto accidents.

  • The first study revealed a 93% PATIENT IMPROVEMENT!
  • The second study revealed a 74-94% PATIENT IMPROVEMENT!

The research is in: chiropractic care is probably the most affective treatment for whiplash injuries: Why choose anything else?
